Product Manager Platform Services

As a Product Manager, Platform Services, you will ensure that our platform meets the highest standards of reliability, compliance, and performance—enabling Accelerant to remain the trusted technology platform for our partners.

This role will focus on building and scaling the foundational components of our platform, including SLAs, security, compliance frameworks, data infrastructure, and shared services, to meet the rigorous demands of a financial-grade ecosystem.

How you will spend your time

  • You will focus on delivering value to the participants of the Accelerant Risk Exchange (both internal and external) through the identification, discovery, prioritization, and facilitation of deliverables for the platform services teams. These deliverables will result in solutions that solve real-world challenges, enable data driven business decisions, and provide unparalleled insights
  • Your realm of responsibility will include topics such as security, compliance, SaaS infrastructure, data infrastructure, and shared platform common services Define and maintain the P&T product vision, strategy and roadmap for compliance and securityinitiatives relating to Accelerant’s Digital Platform
  • Act as the Product and Technology liaison between Accelerant Compliance, Risk, and CISO functions to translate legal or regulatory requirements into actionable product features and represent Product & Technology on cross-functional committees
  • Work in collaboration with other product management leaders to ensure compliance to standards (e.g. SOX, SOC1, SOC2, GDPR, ISO 27001) and influence their backlog of work Conduct gap assessments to address new regulations and ensure timeline product updates
  • Work in collaboration with the P&T Compliance Manager to collaborate with audit teams to provide necessary documentation, address findings and implement corrective action where required
  • Maintain an audit-ready state by developing a backlog to continuously improve processes
  • Working with other Product Managers, members of R&D, and Design to ensure the delivery of high value, high quality, and differentiated solutions that delight our users leveraging product-led best practices
  • Establishing and fostering a culture of customer-focused innovation, including a consistent and thorough process to understand customer needs
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement as it pertains to platform services within the P&T team and the broader organization. Proactively identify opportunities for optimization and Enhancement

You will be successful if you have

  • A proven history of success in product management roles with ownership of large scope in the B2B space
  • Experience managing technical software solutions
  • Familiarity with compliances standards and frameworks such as SOX, SOC1, SOC2, GDPR, ISO 27001
  • Familiarity with GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) tools such as Vanta, Drata, Workiva
  • Direct experience with audit readiness and remediating audit findings in a technical or product management role
  • Strong ability to influence decision making and align competing priorities through collaboration and strategic negotiation
  • Ability to convey ideas clearly and persuasively tailoring messages to diverse audiences.
  • Outstanding communication skills, especially the ability to work closely with experts in different domains, understand their needs, and translate them into software
  • Highly collaborative and willing to give and accept constructive feedback
  • Self starter; ability to act autonomously
  • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and sense of urgency in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing complex software portfolios and developing and delivering on measurable goals for SaaS based solutions
  • Experience working with and managing geographically distributed teams
  • A big-picture perspective with a passion for success and willingness to dive into the details necessary to achieve it
  • Willing and able to travel – including international
