Can you describe your role in a couple of sentences?
As Chief Product Officer, I am responsible for identifying opportunities for us to deliver value to our stakeholders involved in the exchange of risk, including Members, Member managers, risk capital partners, etc., and then helping to deliver those solutions.
How does your work impact people’s financial lives?
Our goal is to deliver a platform on which we enable the exchange of the highest quality risk. This will result in our participants growing their book of business in a profitable way. It’s a win-win for all involved.
What’s your favorite thing about working for Accelerant?
That’s easy…the people, including employees, Members, partners, etc. Everyone is so passionate and dedicated to the success of our collective business’.

What did you do before Accelerant?
I ran Product Management for the data and analytics company, Qlik.
What was your first-ever job?
I worked part-time after school at small software company that developed system tools for operating systems doing whatever they needed me to do (copy disks, data entry, etc.). I’ve always been a techie at heart.

Watertown, Massachusetts
How did you learn about Accelerant?

Who inspires you?
My 90-year-old father. He faces every day with a smile on his face and believes in the power of a sense of humor. He never takes himself too seriously and cherishes his time with his family and friends.
What are you most proud of?
My two daughters. They are incredible, strong, intelligent, kind, and independent women who inspire me to think about the world and the importance of helping others.
What do you love to do when you’re not working?
I love to cook and be outside biking, skiing, golfing, hiking, or just hanging out on the beach.
What’s on your bucket list?
I’ve had the opportunity to travel worldwide for work, so I’ve accumulated a long list of places I want to travel to for pleasure. At the top of that list is a cross-country road trip in the United States. I want to take as many back roads as possible and see and experience the culture and the beauty.
