Title: Group Head of Financial Planning & Analysis

Can you describe your role in a couple of sentences?
Myself and my team help forecast Accelerant’s future financial performance and make decisions based on that. We also report on actual results compared to those projections.
How does your work impact people’s financial lives?
The best part of my job is helping Accelerant make decisions. The projections help the team figure out what is likely to be the best outcome and work toward that.
What’s your favorite thing about working for Accelerant?
The people. We’ve got a great team here, and everyone is willing to help everyone else.
Describe Accelerant in 3 words.
Fast. Nimble. Did I mention fast?
What did you do before Accelerant?
I worked in technology FP&A, and before that, I worked in insurance FP&A. It turned out to be a great blend for coming over to Accelerant.
What was your first-ever job?
A Barista at Bucks County Coffee Company inside a supermarket. The irony is that I don’t drink coffee.
Where did you grow up?
Pennsylvania, outside of Philadelphia.
How did you learn about Accelerant?
I knew a number of people here from my prior insurance days. After swearing off insurance, I decided Accelerant was worth coming back for!
What are you most proud of?
Personally, my kiddos. They’re amazing and wild and drive me crazy every day. But watching them grow up is a gift. Professionally, my team is constantly finding new ways to help the Accelerant family.
What do you love to do when you’re not working?
I spend time with my two little kiddos and my husband. Still working on finding some grown-up hobbies again, but my husband and I do enjoy cooking together.
What’s on your bucket list?
Lots and lots of travel.
