Underwriting assessment of new Members and Member Support on underwriting decisions outside their delegated UW authority
How does your work impact people’s financial lives?
One of our goals on the Underwriting side is to assess the financial viability of the new Members and how their operation will impact our bottom line. Accelerant’s profitability is mainly driven by the underwriting results provided by our Members. This impacts on everyone’s job stability and bonuses.
What’s your favorite thing about working for Accelerant?
That is an innovative / outside-the-box insurance operation. The culture: an organization that is driven by individuals focused on what matters for successful business not their egos.

Who inspires you?
Many people, I can’t name anyone in particular. I get inspired by resilient people, people that has made it through adversity and overcame hardship. In today’s world there are many examples out there, you just have to keep your eyes open and learn from them.
What are you most proud of?
My two daughters, the type of people they became.

Sitting on a beach doing nothing more than watching the ocean, walking my dog Luca, hanging out with friends, golfing, cooking,
